Plato was a smart thinker from ancient Greece, over 2,000 years ago.
He was a student of Socrates and teacher of Aristotle — kind of like a teacher in the middle of a big brainy sandwich! 🥪🧠
He said that thinking and asking questions helps us find the truth.
He believed in something called ideas or forms – like how a drawing of a circle isn’t perfect, but the idea of a circle in your mind is perfect.
He wrote his thoughts as stories and conversations, often with Socrates as the main speaker.
Plato wanted people to be wise and fair, and he dreamed of a world where philosophers were kings, because they would make smart, kind choices for everyone.
